“Health is freedom!”

I believe that health is an essential part of freedom.  My job as a physician is to use my expertise and medical training to help you achieve your optimum state of health.

For me, medicine is much more than just the summation of the diagnostic and treatment methods that I learned in medical school: it is truly a part of who I am.  I have a visceral understanding of health and the human body, which has come from a lifetime of personal experience and experimentation.  I aspire to be an example of health and to lead the balanced lifestyle that I recommend to all of my patients.

My wife Valerie and I moved to Show Low so that we could start our family in a friendly community, with beautiful natural surroundings, and live close to nature. We prepare all of our meals at home from wholesome ingredients, make time to exercise on a daily basis, and make time to have fun and enjoy being together everyday.

I received my undergraduate education from New Mexico Institute of Mining and Technology and my medical training at Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine, in Tempe, AZ.  I have a special interest in Oriental Medicine and received additional training in this subject at Phoenix Institute of Herbal Medicine and Acupuncture.
